CCAC's Paint Your Pet with Kennett Design
Saturday, December 2, 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Paint your pet with Pete Hoffman. You will need to submit a color head shot of your pet to email@example.com and include your name. We will create an outline sketch on a 12x12 canvas and prepare a color palette that matches the photo provided. This is a more difficult event and some prior painting experience is helpful.
This is a BYOB (and bring your own glass) event! Feel free to bring a beverage and snack to enjoy while you paint. Setting is limited and registration is required.
Price is $49.00 per person. Supplies included.

CCAC's Call for Entries
Drop-off for December's Holiday Art Mart and Open Show starts Wednesday, November 22 and runs through Wednesday, November 29 during our regular business hours. CCAC's Open Show is open to all media.
If participating in this years Holiday Art Mart, please bring your table and black table cloth. If you do not have a black table cloth, we can provide that for you.
December in the Gallery
Have somebody on your shopping list that could use a one-of-a-kind, extra special gift? Stop at CCAC during the month of December to shop at the annual Holiday Art Mart. Now in its 7th year, local artists display their favorite handmade works at deeply discounted prices.
Coinciding with the Art Mart is the final exhibition of 2016 which opens on the first Friday of December. CCAC welcomes featured artist, Connie Muller-Thym who will display works based on the theme, “The Usual Suspect”.
CCAC's Happy Hour Jewelry Making Workshop with Kat Naquin
Wednesday, November 29, 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
The arts council welcomes instructor Kat Naquin to the art gallery for an adult jewelry make and take workshop. Just in time for the holiday season, make it for yourself or give as a gift. You will be able to make a ring or a pendant. Cost is $25.00 per person and space is limited so please RSVP before November 27. All materials will be provided. One complimentary glass of wine will be given to those over 21 with identification. You may also bring a snack and drink of your chose.

CCAC's Holiday Card Making Working Workshop
with Jen Roth
Kids Holiday Workshop will be held on Monday, December 11, 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Each child will make 2 holiday cards they will be able to take home with them. Cost is ONLY $10.00 per person. All materials will be provided.
Adults Card Making Workshop will be held Friday, December 8, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Cost is ONLY $20.00 per person and everyone will make 2 cards to take home. All materials will be provided. You can bring a drink/snack to enjoy.
Join the poets every first and third Tuesday of the month. Entertaining and always clever, these "word wizards" are worth a listen. Lunchlines meets at noon in the bright, cheery gallery for about an hour. Bring your lunch and enjoy! All ages are welcome and participation is free for all CCAC members.
Artists In Action
Bring your supplies and join artists in the gallery to paint, draw, or sculpt the day away. Beginners and professionals meet to work on projects, and to share tips and tricks. You never know who will set up in the gallery! All ages and skill levels are welcome. Always FREE, come in every Wednesday from 10:30 am - 2:00 pm and spend the day with the CCAC.

Children's Art Lessons
Tully Lane, an art studio for kids, is offering children's art lessons for ages 5 through 10 with Lisa McKeown Dolor. Tully Lane is a beautifully situated art studio in Fair Hill that provides a nurturing environment to promote creativity, discovery and independent thinking.
Four week sessions are $48 and space is limited.

Opening Reception for CCAC’s Annual Holiday Art Mart and Connie Muller-Thym’s Solo Exhibition, “The Usual Suspect”, will be held Friday, December 1, 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Music will be provided by Dave Massimiano and refreshments will be available. As always, this is a free and family friendly event. CCAC is accessible to all persons with disabilities.

The Cecil County Arts Council is open Monday through Friday, 10 am-4 pm, and the first Saturday from 10 am-2 pm (unless closed due to holiday). The Arts Council acts as a clearinghouse for information on the arts in Cecil County. Now in its 40th year, the Arts Council is a non-profit organization, dedicated to “presenting, promoting and sustaining the arts in Cecil County”.
Supported by funding from the state, county, individual contributions, and sponsorship, the Arts Council is also a membership organization! We would love to include you as a member of this wonderful group of people!
At venues all throughout Cecil County, the Arts Council provides opportunities for the residents of our community to experience art events such as free concerts along the waterfront, exhibitions, workshops, classes and much more!
The Arts Council also provides grant and scholarship opportunities to community residents, organizations and schools. Each year, the Arts Council offers over $34,000 in sub-grants and scholarships to applicants.
