Wonderland of Wreaths
Cecil County Chamber of Commerce and Cecil County Arts Council are hosting a Wonderland of Wreaths. Create a customized wreath to be auctioned off. Everyone is invited to get involved. Proceeds benefit CCAC and Cecil County Chamber of Commerce. More information coming soon for submission guidelines, sponsorship details and other information! Yoga at CCAC with Shay Robb
You have a chance to join Shay two times a week at the arts council for one hour yoga sessions. Just $7.00 drop-in.
Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.

You can join Courtney Cronis on Wednesday nights
at 5:30 p.m. for a one hour yoga session.

Join Amy as she combines the philosophies of yoga and the 12 step program to create a model that addresses addiction as the physical, mental and spiritual disease that it is.
These sessions are open to anyone dealing with their own addictive behavior or is affected by others. Sessions consist of an intentional yoga practice followed by a sharing circle. The sessions are not a substitute for an addiction program, they are an additional practice to it. Please arrive a few minutes early, and wear comfortable clothing.
This class is donation based.

Children's Art Lessons
Tully Lane, an art studio for kids, is offering children's art lessons for ages 5 through 10 with Lisa McKeown Dolor. Tully Lane is a beautifully situated art studio in Fair Hill that provides a nurturing environment to promote creativity, discovery and independent thinking.
Four week sessions are $48 and space is limited.

The Cecil County Arts Council is open Monday through Friday, 10 am-4 pm, and the first Saturday from 10 am-2 pm (unless closed due to holiday or inclement weather). The Arts Council acts as a clearinghouse for information on the arts in Cecil County. Now in its 41st year, the Arts Council is a non-profit organization, dedicated to “presenting, promoting and sustaining the arts in Cecil County”.
Supported, in part, by funding from the state, county, individual contributions, and sponsorship, the Arts Council is also a membership organization! We would love to include you as a member of this wonderful group of people!
At venues all throughout Cecil County, the Arts Council provides opportunities for the residents of our community to experience art events such as free concerts along the waterfront, exhibitions, workshops, classes and much more!
The Arts Council also provides grant and scholarship opportunities to community residents, organizations and schools. Each year, the Arts Council offers over $34,000 in sub-grants and scholarships to applicants.

Alcohol Ink Class

Join us at CCAC to decorate a pumpkin candy dish with vibrant alcohol inks. Grab your friends, bring your own snack and wine if you like. The white porelain pumpkin measures 6"x4" with handmade accent leaves and vines. $40.00 per person. Acrylic Pouring Class with Gina Dell
Sunday December 2, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Join Gina Dell at the arts council for another paint pouring class! You can create your own abstract painting with the materials provided. This will be an 11x14 canvas. No experience is needed. You may bring a drink/snack to enjoy while you paint. Class is $40 per person. Registration is required. Paint Your Pet with Kennett Design
At Cecil County Arts Council
Saturday, December, 8, 2;00 - 5:00 p.m.
This will be your last chance to paint your pet before the New Year. You may paint your pet or a loved ones pet and give them a gift for the holidays they will cherish forever. All materials are provided and you must submit a photo of the pet prior to class. Registration is required, and if minimum registration is not met, paid registrations may be combined with another date. You may bring a drink and snack to enjoy while painting. $40 per person. This fee includes the custom pre-sketch, custom paint palette, and instructions by KD artist to complete the finished portrait. Multiple models are needed ($30 stipend) for
Friday's CCAC Portrait Study sessions.
Multiple models over 18 years of age ($40 stipend) are needed for Saturday's Figure Drawing sessions.

Portrait Study Sessions at CCAC
Every Friday 1:30- 3:30 p.m.
Portrait Study sessions take place on the 2nd floor of the arts council every Friday. Enhance your skills with a live model each week. Bring your art supplies, the arts council will provide tables, chairs and easels (limited quantity).
Cost is only $5.00 per person.
Figure Drawing Sessions at CCAC
Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
You can join CCAC's Figure Drawing group every week on the 2nd floor gallery. All skill levels welcome, just bring your art supplies with you. All participants must be 18 years or older. Cost is only $5.00 per person.

Beginner Yoga Classes at CCAC with Be Yoga Fresh
Beginner Yoga Sessions with Amy are held every Thursday from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the back gallery of the arts council.

In a joint venture with the main office of the Cecil County Public Library, the arts council has been offered an additional location for our featured artists to hang (and sell) their work! “Gallery 301” has opened at the Elkton Library branch and they welcome you to rotate your show from the front gallery of CCAC to the walls of CCPL! With more than 900 visitors, each day, the library is an excellent venue for your work to be seen and to be sold. Sales will be handled the same as they are at the gallery.
If you are interested in being featured at the library, let us know.
Artists In Action
Bring your supplies and join artists in the gallery to paint, draw, or sculpt the day away. Beginners and professionals meet to work on projects, and to share tips and tricks. You never know who will set up in the gallery! All ages and skill levels are welcome. Always FREE, come in every Wednesday from 10:30 am - 2:00 pm and spend the day with the CCAC.
Join the poets every first and third Tuesday of the month. Entertaining and always clever, these "word wizards" are worth a listen. Lunchlines meets at noon in the bright, cheery gallery for about an hour. Bring your lunch and enjoy! All ages are welcome and participation is free for all CCAC members.
